I WANT TO START BY SAYING this blog isn’t going to be a well designed, well layed out, well thought out process.. it is going to be just written as I think with run on sentences and such. Many posts just pulled from my personal journal and copied here. Worrying about layouts and graphics isn’t going to be part of it…..
I tot on the scale this AM…and well I didn’t lose any weight.. but I woke up very motivated and it’s only been a day or two.. so… yesterday I didn’t overeat but I did eat lots of coleslaw.. maybe too many carbs but I had made keto coleslaw to go with burgers I made for dinner.. for lunch yesterday I made turkey wraps with the keto spinach balance brand wraps and served them with a pack of quest chili lime chips.. I can tell w/ my CGM that they are ok!! Which helps.. I also ate a strawberry shortcake atkins bar as a snack before dinner.. still craving sweet very much.. I can’t wait until keto kicks in and my cravings are gone.. today I am making bacon and eggs to break our fast and we are having salad and steaks for dinner.. yum!!!
AN OBSERVATION: I spend 95% of your life on my ass or in bed.. because it takes so much effort to be on my feet. that is what an extra 110 pounds will do.. I have lived this way for many years and now that I am officially an old chick… I really want to have a better quality of life as I age. I don’t want to live like this any longer.. I want to travel w/ my hubs in retirement and walk all over cities and beaches.. I need to.. and do want to start a walking routine but right now it’s next to impossible to motivate myself because the weight is such a huge hinderance.. I think even losing 25 pounds would make a huge difference in the movement.. right now I just ache all over with any exertion at all.
HERE IS A RECIPE I WANNA MAKE:

Use a spiralizer to make zucchini noodles and toss them in a saucepan with butter and a little salt and pepper then let it cook for about 5-6 minutes.
Once the noodles were placed in a bowl, I started making the sauce that included heavy cream, cream cheese, and garlic and nutmeg. I let that cook down for a few minutes then we tossed the noodles with the sauce and BAM. Dinner is ready 🙂 add a bit of parmesan cheese on top!
ALSO WANNA MAKE KETO TACO SALAD
Iceburg, taco seasoned ground beef, salsa, avo, soy blk beans, cheese crisp chips, tobasco, blk olives.. yum!!!
